I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Bowling Green State University. I completed my Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Virginia. I received my B.A. from The Ohio State University in Philosophy and Political Science and my M.A. in Philosophy from Georgia State University.
My research interests are in political and social philosophy and topics at the intersection of philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE). I have particular interests in methodological issues concerning how to theorize about justice and democracy.

I was the Hilliard Family Jefferson Fellow at the University of Virginia, an Adam Smith Fellow at the Mercatus Center in 2017-2018, 2018-2019, and 2019-2020, and the Charlotte Colby Danly Fellow at The Institute for Humane Studies where I was awarded a Humane Studies Fellowship in 2018-2019 and was the Bernard Marcus Fellow in 2019-2020. In 2020, I was the proud receipent of an All-University Graduate Teaching Award.
